Earlier this month, Soey Milk brought her work up north to Hashimoto Contemporary in San Francisco for a solo entitled PIDA / 피다. The title references a Korean term that means to blossom or to become something else, something that applies to her continued development as an artist and her experimentation with technique. On display were a diverse selection of works including oil paintings and graphite drawings, some with embedded objects incorporated into the pieces. The show will be on view through the 24th for those interested in a visit.
