Tonight (October 1st) in Seattle, Casey Weldon (featured) will be presenting some new works at Roq La Rue collectively entitled Hastemaker. The surreal new paintings are rendered with a bright hyperchromatic palette, something the locally-based artist is known for, giving them almost a supernatural glow. This choice of illumination matches well with his cinematic narrative, giving the pieces an almost mystical quality.
