Hashimoto Contemporary‘s November exhibition looks to be a promising show featuring work from four Bay Area artists Bessma Khalaf, Jacqueline Norheim, Steuart Pittman (pictured above) and Dan Swindel.
Second Nature is a departure from some of Hashimoto’s previous programming and looks to be an exciting step for the San Francisco space. Painting, sculpture and photography collide with video installation in this healthy mix of practices, thematically linked by the collective experiences of our surroundings expressed through a variety of media. We’re particularly keen on Swindel’s photographic pieces presented as sculptural forms and Pittman’s highly graphic oil paintings.
The show runs from November 5 – 14, 2015, with opening reception on Thursday the 5th from 6pm-10pm. Looks like a must see show and all four artists will be in attendance.
