After sharing James Jean’s work with the iPad Pro & Apple Pencil, we have another artist who has put in some work with the company’s Start Something New campaign. Tasked with “illustrating nature through its details,” the American artist created a piece entitled Herowana, a celebration of wildlife in Papua New Guinea. The San Francisco-based painter’s first foray into the digital realm was something she has been tempted with before but she never had time to try. Bozic is now one of 11 artists whose works will be displayed in Apple Stores and on Apple.com, with her being the only one who did everything entirely on an iPad Pro. For those interested in meeting her, Juxtapoz will be holding a special panel at the Apple Store on West 14th Street in NYC on January 7 at 6pm (details here). Also you can read more about the project from her point of view here.
