Tomorrow night (July 9th) in Los Angeles, Mark Moore Gallery will be presenting new sculptural assemblages from Kris Kuksi. Entitled New Rome, the exhibition will be the Kansas-based artist’s second showing with the gallery which will once again highlight his “hybrid style of baroque and rococo that deeply examine the human psyche.” The complex sculptures, sometimes over 10 feet wide, are painstakingly put together using things like figurines, model parts, collectibles, craft parts, and jewelry.
