Over the weekend, the first set of visitors to the annual Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival were treated to a majestic new installation from Edoardo Tresoldi. Entitled Etherea, the site specific piece for the event’s Arts Section is a continuation of the Italian artist’s work with wire sculptures, although this one is certainly his biggest artwork to date. The three transparent sculptures are inspired by Neoclassical and Baroque architecture, measuring 36, 54, and 72 feet in height.
