Continuing his annual showings at Corey Helford Gallery in Los Angeles, Eric Joyner (interviewed) will be returning for another solo on June 23rd. Cleverly entitled Glazed Machinations, the new body of work perfectly encapsulates what inspires him to paint – robots and donuts. Whether it be his signature Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Robots or incorporating the iconic Randy’s Donuts into his imagery, Joyner always finds novel new adventures for his two “muses” as well as unique ways for them to interact.
