Currently in Hong Kong, the local branch of Galerie Perrotin has an exhibition on display from Chen Fei entitled Flesh and Me. Despite the Chinese artist’s original training in film, he chose to depict his artistic visions on canvas. Because of this background, his works often have a cinematic reference and feel to them and often features the sex, desire and violence often seen in that genre.
