Few things remind us of summer in America more than surfing and Southern California, specifically, Malibu. When you combine those two things with art, you have a fantastic timely mix for a warm weather exhibition. DEPART Foundation presents Sea Sick in Paradise, a group show curated by Amy Yao. The film, by Timothy Marrinan & Richard Dewey, provides an overview of the artist’s fascinating and controversial life through archival and original footage.
