Streets: Cinta Vidal / RAD Napa Project

Following recent works from Felipe Pantone (covered) and Natalia Rak (covered), Cinta Vidal has just completed her contribution to the RAD Napa project (curated by Thinkspace and sponsored by The Napa Valley Wine Train). The piece from the Spanish artist featured some of the architectural imagery and play with perspective that she has become known for. Releases: Mark Ryden – “Princess Praline and Her Entourage” Print

With his upcoming New York show featuring artwork from the ballet (covered) he worked on with the American Ballet Theater opening on May 20th, Mark Ryden (interviewed) will also be releasing an associated print on May 19th. Princess Praline and Her Entourage looks to be an image taking from some of Ryden’s concept art from his set and costume design work. Recap: Brendan Monroe – “Mammatus” @ Curator’s Cube

Earlier this year, Brendan Monroe (interviewed) held a showcase in Japan at Curator’s Cube entitled Mammatus. The exhibition in Tokyo featured several of the American artist’s distinctive ceramic sculptures and some of his organic black and white patterned drawings, which were complemented nicely with a wall mural. Recap: Art Market San Francisco 2017

A couple weeks ago the seventh edition of Art Market San Francisco returned to the Fort Mason’s Festival Pavilion to the delight of collectors and art fans in the Bay Area. Featuring works from artists working with an international selection of 80 different galleries, the event looked to have something for everyone. Streets: D*Face (Paris)

Recently in the 13th District of Paris, D*Face (interviewed) was invited in by Galerie Itinerrance to paint a mural as part of the open-air museum featuring works from 28 street artists. Entitled Love Won’t Tear Us Apart, the new wall features the British artist’s distinctive cartoonish style and as well as his skull & wings imagery. Fashion: James Jean x Prada 2018 Resort Collection

Following up on his work with Prada in 2008 and other projects through the years, James Jean (interviewed) has collaborated with the Italian fashion house on part of their 2018 resort collection. Staged for the first time at the Fondazione Prada Osservatorio in Milan, the runway show featured the illustrator and visual artist’s imagery prominently on parkas, a pantsuit, dresses as well as many of the handbags.
