Just yesterday, we brought you progress shots of Anthony Lister (interviewed) and his latest mural (covered) taking place on the famed Barracuda Wall. Over the weekend, several new pieces from Banksy popped up in London including this plane with the heart trail seen above. Fans of Mr. B had already been on high alert as word came of a new print to be released soon from POW. Other stencils that showed up include a red version of the plane as well as a sign that states “Sorry! The lifestyle you ordered is currently out of stock.” Photos after the jump…

On Friday night, AM attended Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth where KAWS unveiled his latest show in the Lone Star state. The exhibition entitled Focus:KAWS is a mix of color and monotone works from the Brooklyn based artist including a previous series of tondos which made its way from this year’s Armory. For the younger collectors out there in Los Angeles, there is good news as the Affordable Art Fair will be in town from January 18th – 22nd for their debut showing. Held on the event deck at L.A. Live, the goal is to present contemporary art priced from $100 – $10,000, with half of the work under $5,000. Liliwenn is a photorealistic street muralist from France (and founder of the Crimes of Mind project) whom we have featured briefly here on AM in the past. She recently collaborated with ASM (A State of Mind) on their entertaining new music video for Splice the Mainbrace, where she is featured as a street artist on the run from the law. Openings: Hush @ Onethirty3

Last week, the Onethirty3 installation space in Newcastle hosted its newest featured guest – Hush (interviewed). The UK-based artist presented his signature blend of anime influenced imagery with the raw energy of urban forms while creating an immersive transformation in the gallery confines. As with their other shows, limited editions in association with the installation was offered and subsequently sold out. Check out more pics from the opening after the jump…
