The MTV Staying Alive Foundation will be holding a benefit art auction and exhibition entitled RE:DEFINE to mark the 30th anniversary of the discovery of the AIDS virus. The Future Tense launches itself in London this week with a showing of represented artists Katrin Fridriks, Lee Baker, Mark Webber, Tom Oldham, Joseph Loughborough, Jamie Shaw and Louis Hudson. We particularly like the look of Katrin Fridriks’ work, pictured above. The Icelandic artist currently lives and works in Paris where she composes her abstract explosions of colour using an almost perfect balance of order and refinement complimenting the chaos and urgency seen within her work.
