A young artist we have had our eye on for some time, Frank Gonzales, is getting ready for a solo in Santa Fe, New Mexico at Beals & Abbate Fine Art. The New York-based artist is currently working on the new body of work in preparation for the September including the piece seen above. Video: ROA – “Four Horses Of The Apocalypse” Timelapse

You may remember back in April we wrote about the massive piece Belgian street specialist ROA put up at Unit44 as part of their White Walls Project in Newcastle. Last month, AM stopped by the solo from Tim Hon Hung Lee at Gallery Nine 5 in New York to check out his new body of work entitled You were born with a light between your eyes, I was born to answer your sun. Utilizing Chinese ink on rice paper, the London-based artist paints complex and rich pieces that draw from the stories of his family and ancestors while also mixing in elements of his Western upbringing. Streets: Claudio Ethos (Sao Paulo)

After getting a massive mural up in Los Angeles, it looks like Claudio Ethos has returned home to Brazil. The Sao Paolo-based street surrealist recently posted up a couple of presumably new pieces he did in his native city on his blog before heading over to the CityLeaks Festival. After telling you about an upcoming show curated by KAWS and Erik Parker, we now bring your pics of another artist curated show in Copenhagen. Let’s Go Bombing Tonight at the V1 Gallery was put together under the vision of Barry McGee and Josh Lazcano (AMAZE) and features a lineup of their friends and associates. Video: El Mac – “Kosoom by the Mekong” (Vietnam)

We last caught up with El Mac when he was collaborating with Augustine Kofie on a mural for the Pasadena Street Cred exhibition (covered). But, if you remember before that, we had featured his tour around the world where he dropped bombs on Dublin, Hawaii, Singapore, and Vietnam in August of 2010. Now, a sweet video has been recently released of part of that trip where he got up in Ho Chi Minh City. Discuss El Mac here.

Releases: Jeff Soto – Eddie Vedder Screenprint (Providence 2011)

Next Friday, June 22nd, Jeff Soto (interviewed) will be releasing a new five color screenprint on his webstore. Limited to a signed edition of 100 and costing $65, the print celebrates the first night of Pearl Jam lead vocalist Eddie Vedder’s US Tour.
