Recently, we shared with you a mural that D*Face (interviewed) completed for the Unexpected public arts event in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Curated by Just Kids, artists Vhils, Roa (seen above), Maser, Ana Maria, Bicicleta Sem Freio and Askew were also invited in to paint walls in the former real western town’s downtown area. Constantly expanding their brand of street art inspired fun based in Hawaii, POW! WOW!’s latest adventure takes them to a satellite event at the South by Southwest (SXSW) festival in Austin, Texas. Local artists like Mouf, Truth, Ana Maria and Lucas Aoki alongside international talents like Rone, Yoskay Yamamoto, Meggs, Ron English, Kamea Hadar, Jasper Wong, Jeffrey Gess, Tatiana Saurez and Risk transformed the walls on Red River Street, Barton Springs Road, Ceasar Chavez Street and Fruth Street during a six day painting process (with help from SprATX, Flexfit, Knockaround, […]
