Earlier this month, New York City welcomed in the Armory Art Show. This annual event showcases some of the brightest names and current trends in contemporary art (@ Pier 94) with a portion dedicated to some of the classics from art history (@ Pier 92). This main fair brought thousands of art lovers from all over the world and is the central hub of the Armory Week fairs and festivities. Take a look at some of the interesting works on display below. With the official opening of Armory Week in New York tomorrow, March 3rd, it’s time to tell you about one of the booths we are really looking forward to. One of the satellite fairs, PULSE, will feature a booth from Gallery Poulsen in Copenhagen where they will be displaying a fantastic selection of work from six of their artists including Christian Rex van Minnen, John Jacobsmeyer (seen above), Mu Pan, Nicola Verlato and William Powhida. From March 3-6, Thinkspace will be presenting a new body of work from Brian Viveros (featured) at the SCOPE Art Show (booth B1) during Armory Week in New York.
