Showing: Berndnaut Smilde – “Antipode” @ Ronchini Gallery

We first introduced you to Berndnaut Smilde’s work last year, when a video was released documenting the Amsterdam-based artist’s amazing process of creating “clouds” indoors. Fans in London now have the opportunity to see some of the Dutch artist’s work in person as he is currently showing at Ronchini Gallery. Videos: Berndnaut Smilde – “Making Clouds”

Berndnaut Smilde‘s work is defined by the temporary and the ephemeral. It lives for a few seconds and disappears, without a trace that it was ever there, documented only through photographs and video. The Avant/Garde Diaries recently recorded one of his clouds in the Green Room of the Veterans Building in downtown San Francisco.
