Stopping by the Great Park Neighborhoods planned development in Irvine, California recently, Sage Vaughn left an installation from his “Bouquet” series for residents to enjoy on the Art Walk of Cadence Park. On September 27th, the opening reception for And Who is My Neighbor: Stories From the Margins is scheduled from 6:30-8:30pm at The Green Art Gallery at Biola University. Curated by Nery Gabriel Lemus and Jeff Rau, the group exhibition features artists “respond to division and injustice by highlighting the stories of oppressed and marginalized people” as suggested by the title inspired by the biblical parable of the Good Samaritan. Previews: “Risqué {dirty little pictures}” @ Long Beach Museum of Art

On Thursday night, September 19th, the Long Beach Museum of Art will host the opening of a new group exhibition entitled Risqué {dirty little pictures}.
