Elian Chali recently took part in the Cityleaks / TRANSURBAN festival in Cologne, Germany, curated by Georg Barrinhaus. For this event, he created one of his vibrant, abstract, and minimalist public interventions titled Against Overlapping. Working on a residential building in Müllheim, the Argentinian artist took the strong cultural characteristics of neighborhood and created a piece that searches for harmony. Streets: Mark Jenkins (Cologne)

American street artist Mark Jenkins (interviewed) recently visited Cologne in Germany where he created some new work for CityLeaks Festival at Ruttkowski;68 Gallery atelier. With a help of his collaborator, Sandra Fernandez, the artist created six new, site specific works that were than placed to different locations around town. Streets: CityLeaks Summary – Faith47, DAL, ROA, Herakut, INTI

We’ve already shown you the walls that Blu and Ethos painted for the CityLeaks Festival in Germany, but it looks like it’s time for a summary of some of the rest of the participants. As we have become accustomed to, street artists Faith47 and DAL worked on murals with religious overtones and frenetic energy respectively. Belgium-based ROA brought his new skinned animal concepts from indoors to outdoors. Streets: Claudio Ethos for Cityleaks Festival (Germany)

Back in June, we brought you photos of the medusa head that Blu painted for the CityLeaks Festival in Germany. Now pictures have surfaced of the beautiful new mural that the Brazilian street surrealist Ethos gifted Cologne for his part of the event. For those interested, the festival have uploaded timelapse videos onto their vimeo channel of Herakut’s and Blu’s work so far. Check out a couple more detailed pics of the wall above after the jump…
