After showing you some in-progress shots and some sneak peeks of the massive amount of work in progress on the streets of Kakaako, we now have a recap of many of the walls and public interventions that were created for POW! WOW! Hawaii. This year’s event had locations that were more compact and centrally located, leading to a more easily navigated set of murals. After a first look at some of the murals for this year’s POW! WOW! Hawaii, here is a recap of most of the remaining public works created for 2016. A crew of international and local artists, mostly through the course of a week, left their mark in and around the Kaka’ako district in Oahu with their distinctive imagery. It seems that POW! WOW! Hawaii gets more ambitious each year with the plethora of quality local and international artists participating growing as a result. With our more focused coverage over, here is a recap of some of the murals and walls that we missed.
