A video came out recently that walks through the Doze Green show (covered) that is currently showing at the Jonathan Levine Gallery. Monotonous documentary lady voice notwithstanding, the video highlights the otherworldly and stylized work from the old school street artist, especially the vibrancy of his color pieces. Doze Green opened alongside of Josh Keyes (covered) at Jonathan Levine Gallery last weekend with some “New Works.” The new body of work showed off the artist’s gift for taking simple strokes and turning them into organic abstractions. Wooster Collective recently unveiled their forthcoming Wooster special edition with influential French stencil artist Blek Le Rat. Apparently, a few of the special edition book and print sets (limited to 300 copies) were available last weekend at the opening of the Blek Le Rat (and Doze Green) show at Jonathan Levine Gallery. Look for the rest of the edition to drop on the Wooster Collective site sometime soon.
