Video: Dzine @ Bass Museum of Art

Vernissage TV was on hand to document one of the shows we enjoyed during our visit to Miami for Art Basel Week. As we previously mentioned, Chicago- based artist Dzine brought his sculptures, paintings and installations for an exhibition at the Bass Museum of Art with a custom chandelier and “ghost bike” being some of the standout pieces. Take a look as he walks through and explains his work. Discuss Art Basel week here.

Dzine @ Miami’s Bass Museum of Art

When down in Miami for Art Basel, we went with our friends The Art Collectors to the Bass Museum of Art to see the exhibition by Chicago-based artist Dzine. Suffice to say that Dzine truly brought it for this museum show, which included eye-popping installations and paintings, proving that he is an artist to watch. As always, The Art Collectors has written up an intelligent and in-depth post with extensive photos, so check it out here. Discuss Art Basel week here.

AM was invited to attend the press preview and to speak with the all-star cast of artists about their works. We […]

Openings: Dzine – “Love & Loyalty” @ Leeahn Gallery (South Korea)

From the look of the photos, there’s no wonder why the entire show sold-out before the opening. Dzine’s newest resin and crystal covered paintings are explosively colorful and energetic, especially the gigantic “In the beginning… (after Assumption of the Virgin).” And Dzine, who has become well-known for his tricked-out custom vehicles, unveiled his newest low-rider bike, entitled “Loyalty,” […]
