Artist Herbert Baglione is currently in Frankfurt, Germany for the Street-Art Brazil exhibition put on by the SCHIRN along with other artists like Nunca, Zezao, and more. With the opening festivities scheduled for the 4th, the Brazilian street muralist has been extending his 1000 Shadows project (also see Parma, Italy) into the Deutschland. Openings: Ryan McGinley – “Running Water, What Are You Running From?” @ Bischoff Projects

Earlier this month, Bischoff Projects in Frankfurt hosted a new showing from Ryan McGinley entitled Running Water, What Are You Running From? In addition to large-scale editions of the New York-based artist’s photos, there were also some smaller prints that were arranged in a cluster against one wall. Ryan McGinley, whose Blue Falling is the newest image for the High Line billboard commission in New York, is also planning a solo show in Germany. Opening April 6th, this Saturday, Running Water, What Are You Running From? at Bischoff Projects in Frankfurt will feature the ebullient photography of the NY-based artist, who plans to be in attendance. Streets: Flying Fortress (Frankfurt)

At the end of last month, Montana Cans in Germany hosted a two day event, Just Writing My Name, where graf artists were invited to paint the Friedensbrücke bridge in Frankfurt. Munich-based legend Flying Fortress, who we met at this year’s POW WOW, participated with this long mural featuring “The Hit Collection.” Check out the full wall as well take a look at a video documenting the going-ons after the jump…
