Baby Tattooville ’09: KMNDZ (Part II)

One of the big surprises of Baby Tattooville this year was the big reveal of who would walk home with the huge KMNDZ painting we previously told you about. Baby Tattooville ‘09: “Son Of Baby Tattooville” Museum Reception

After a successful exhibition last year (“Beyond Baby Tattooville”), the Riverside Art Museum brings back Baby Tattooville with this year’s roster of artists, with a show called “Son of Baby Tattooville”.  It was a unique museum group show in that almost all the artists who had works in the show made it in person to the opening.  Museum-goers were greeted with highly-representational pieces by each artists, such as Audrey Kawasaki‘s classic Two Sisters. Teaser: KMNDZ @ Shooting Gallery

Here’s a little teaser of the KMNDZ’s coming show at Shooting Gallery on Oct 10th. This will be a very hectic several weeks for Johnny as he’s not only busy preparing for the show in San Francisco next month, but he’ll also be hanging in Riverside the weekend of Oct 2nd as he’ll be one of the artists attending Baby Tattooville this year. Openings: Movers and Shakers @ POV Evolving

“Movers and Shakers” (previewed) opened on Valentine’s Day in Los Angeles’ Chinatown at POV Evolving Gallery and AM dropped by to check it out.
