Streets: Jonathan Borofsky (Pittsburgh)

This whimsical sculpture from by artist Jonathan Borofsky is entitled Walking to the Sky, a stainless steel and resin piece depicting people walking up a 30 meter high pole. The american sculptor and printmaker who lives and works in Maine has had the piece installed in various places around the world, but now it resides permanently on the campus of Carnegie Mellon University near the intersection of Forbes Avenue and Morewood Avenue in Pittsburgh.
