Previews: “Out Of Line” @ Subliminal Projects

On April 8th, Subliminal Projects will be opening a new group exhibition entitled Out Of Line featuring the work of Aaron Li-Hill, Guno Park (seen above), Mark Powell, and Von. The show participants were chosen for using primarily graphite, pen, and ink as their medium of choice, but also explores how they have expanded on traditional concepts of drawing. Invited back to POW! WOW! Hawaii (more coverage here) for a second time (see 2014), James Jean (interviewed) has upgraded to a much larger mural this time around. Set up at one of the inner courtyards at the Honolulu Museum of Art, the gifted painter is well on his way to transforming the wall with just two colors. Moniker Art Fair, one of the events on the week’s busy schedule in London, opened with a private view on the 17th of October. Sharing a venue with Other Art Fair, these two events attracted a huge mass of art collectors, enthusiast, gallery owners and artists.
