After a two week residency at Villa Alliv, JAW, BLO and KAN of the Da Mental Vaporz crew (DMV) are showing their collaborative artworks. The three artists have invaded the space with canvasses as well extending their imagery to the walls and ceilings, blending their own distinctive style from abstract and impulsive to pointillism and precision with the results being vibrant and energetic compositions. On Saturday, the 30th of April, Villa Alliv in Marseille, France will open its doors for a new exhibition entitled Residence. JAW, KAN and BLO, members of the Da Mental Vaporz crew have transformed the space following a two week residency. The new body of work is a the result of collaborations between the artists, carried out in situ. Under impulse and improvisation, they bring their instinctive and distinctive methods together – street pointillism (KAN), abstraction (BLO) and image destructuring (JAW) – to create surrealist compositions.
