Nick Walker (interviewed) will have a new print entitled Manhattan Bridge on sale on Monday, 2nd October at 2.30pm GMT. The print features the artist’s gentleman vandal character walking across the streets of NY looking at the Manhattan Bridge. The 12 colour silk print is produced in an edition of 99 on Somerset Velvet 300 gsm paper and sized at 74 cm x 95 cm. It will be available for £450 online here at the appropriate time. AM recently attended the opening of Nick Walker’s (interviewed) exhibition at the Quin Hotel in Midtown New York City. Marking the kick off of the first ever artist in residence for the hotel, the famed UK artist pulled out some great stencil compositions to deck out his paintings. On January 21st (6-9pm), Nick Walker (interviewed) will be opening a solo show at the Quin Hotel in New York. As the hotel’s inaugural artist-in-residence, the British artist already has 15 original pieces for display in their permanent collection. The print was inspired by a portrait by Butterfly featuring the UK artist in his signature vandal outfit riding a carousel horse next to the Eiffel Tower during a visit to the French capital.
