Following up on his previous collaboration (covered) with Uniqlo x Sesame Street, KAWS will be releasing a more extensive collection featuring the iconic cast of characters from the popular children’s show on November 19th. Releases: KAWS – “SMALL LIE” Figures

After dropping hints on Instagram for the last few weeks, KAWS is ready to finally release his SMALL LIE figures. This new sculptural limited edition features his popular companion figure (a remix of Mickey Mouse with a skull and crossbones head), with the addition of a Pinocchio nose. The figure will be produced in the usual Black, Grey, and Brown colorways and will be available tomorrow at noon EST on the Brooklyn-based artist’s website. Discuss KAWS here.

Basel Week Miami ’18 / Releases: KAWS – “The News” Print Portfolio @ Pace Prints

Like in recent years (2015, 2016), KAWS has planned a limited edition release through Pace Prints tomorrow (December 6th at 11 am EST) for Basel Week Miami. The portfolio of nine tondo prints (run of 100), entitled THE NEWS, featuring the Brooklyn-based artist’s pop culture infused abstractions, have a tiered pricing system with the cost going up as the edition sells out. Events: Shepard Fairey @ All Tomorrow’s Parties USA 2011

All Tomorrow’s Parties USA has just unveiled Shepard Fairey as the special artist for this year’s festival. For the event, Fairey has designed the above poster featuring the Asbury Park Convention Center and Paramount Theater where the three-day music extravaganza will be held. Releases: Bast – “Niel Blender (Red)” Print

Bast, who’s currently showing with Faile. at Lazarides (covered), recently released a print named after legendary skater and artist Neil Blender. The edition titled simply “Niel Blender (Red)” [sic] is pretty large at 129 cm x 97 cm is priced at £725.00 in a run of 10 (available here). For those who don’t know who Blender is, check out some awesome old school footage after the jump where he stops during a skating competition to spraypaint and therefore gets disqualified.

Tim Biskup recently posted on his blog about a print that Dance Right is releasing that is a variation on his “Tree of Life” print.Â It’s a collaboration because MFG took the original image (seen below) and altered it (seen above).Â Pretty affordable as prints go for $35.Â Details after the jump.
