With established galleries in the scene closing and rumored others in trouble, Corey Helford Gallery has stood strong for a decade and recently opened up a beautiful new space in Downtown LA. This Saturday, May 23rd, CHG Circa in Culver City will be opening a group show entitled Product Displacement. Participants were asked to consider the “interruption” of the media and arts by the insertion of commercial advertising when creating a piece for the show. Much like the invasion of consumerism into our everyday lives, brands and products have invaded these artist’s works.
