POW! WOW! ’14: Murals – First Look

A major component of the POW WOW festival in Hawaii is of course the public art that goes up over a week, mostly in the industrial district of Kaka’ako. AM spent some of the last two days walking the streets chatting to artists and admiring the murals going up that not only display the skills of these painters from all over the world, but often times tests their collaborative problem-solving that occurs when working on joint walls (like the one above between Buff Monster and Nychos).
