Preview: Carl Krull – “Sediment” @ Format Artspace

On Friday, the 20th of January, Format Artspace in Copenhagen will be opening a new exhibition by Carl Krull. Exclusively focused on five series of hand pulled silk-screen prints, Sediment will include new works that for first time in years include colors. Through his simple and unique visual language, the Danish artist manages to get his images from the two-dimensional surface of the paper. Benefit: “Idea for the Here and Now” @ Fountain Fair

Christina Ray Gallery (formerly Glowlab) and Fountain Art Fair are behind an unique group exhibition to benefit Transformazium, an emerging collaborative arts center in Braddock, Pennsylvania. Releases: Supakitch – “Supamoto” @ Pigment Editions

Dropping 1pm Eastern today at Pigment Editions is a sick new print by our Gallic homeboy Supakitch. The 18 x 24″ print, entitled “Supamoto,” is no giclee, ink-jet, rolled-out in mass quantities. Instead,  it’s truly a love-labored collaboration between artist and master printer – using only the best homemade archival inks on nice thick paper.
