Google Art Project

In another sign that Google is taking over the world, they launched the Google Art Project today. Using technology similar to their “street view” feature on Google Maps, users can take a virtual tour of art institutions around the world like the MoMA (NY), Palace of Versailles, National Gallery (London), the Tate, and more. VIP Art Fair

An art fair based on an interesting premise opened this weekend – the VIP Art Fair. As online sales have increased when compared to in-person sales at most galleries, it was only natural that a virtual art fair be the next “big idea”.
