Jack Shainman Gallery is currently showing a two part solo debut with the gallery, by recognized Titus Kaphar. Drawing The Blinds is a survey of new, mostly large size paintings that are painted and than manipulated with American artist’s recognizable interventions. Through his process, the artist is moving his seemingly classical oils to a sculptural and conceptual sphere. Another of the many temporary Los Angeles gallery transplants with an impressive booth at Art Basel Miami Beach was Roberts & Tilton (teased).
