Street artist and photographer Slinkachu recently was in Paris where he set up his Why is it so hard to find a job? series of work (construction worker, guard, saleswoman, scientist, and electrician) around town. These new street installations were created to promote ReAct Paris, “a conference organised by the European Parliament to tackle the problems of unemployment in Europe, particularly youth unemployment, which in some parts of Europe stand close to a miserable 30%.” Hidden in plain sight all around the City of Light, the miniatures play with ideas of perspective while spreading an important message.
