Last night in conjunction with POWWOW ’14, RVCA & The Seventh Letter teamed up to put on an exhibition featuring some of the graffiti & street artists they are affiliated with. Working with similar sized canvases, they each translated their imagery and aesthetic on the streets onto panel for the popup show (691 Auahi Street). Take a look at what the impressive roster of artists came up with in the photos below as well as what Barry McGee (aka Ly Quan) hid on the back of a non-descript gray and black speckled painting (seen above).
