A couple weeks ago, Doze Green presented a series new works at Jonathan LeVine Gallery entitled Out of Knowhere, his fifth showing with the Chelsea showspace. Along with new canvas paintings featuring his fusion of abstraction and cubism, the New York-born and California-based artist included a selection of monochromatic drawings on paper that represent his friends and mentors, people from NY street culture who influenced his life’s path greatly.
