At the end of last month, colette in Paris opened a show from Steven Harrington entitled Wavy Days. The selection of recent paintings, prints, drawings, and sculpture were a therapeutic means for the American artist to deal with his struggles with anxiety, a channelling of that worrisome energy into playful cartoons and humor. Harrington also painted a mural at the store of two interlocking palm trees, a motif that can be seen throughout the new body of work.
