Alice Gallery in Brussels recently had a solo from Clare Rojas on display entitled The Inexhaustible Middle. Continuing her move to abstraction and color study, the new works from the American artist distill her folk art-like imagery into patterns, geometric shapes, and linear forms in her distinctive palette. Along with presenting her latest works on canvas and paper, Rojas also performed songs in her “folk-bluegrass” style under the pseudonym of singer-songwriter Peggy Honeywell.
