Artist and musician Liz McGrath is opening a show tonight in Spain called “Tears of the Crocodile.” Her grotesque yet beautiful sculptures have always been eye-catching and strangely fascinating. Her show at Iguapop will feature many detailed works that must be looked at closely to fully appreciate their intricacies. Examples of this after the jump.
As you can see from the centerpiece of the show “The Lucky Pig,” there are many details that you would miss if you did not take a more careful look. Check out the little house in the pig’s abdomen… Some selected pieces in the gallery below.
