German collaborative street art sensation Herakut (interviewed) opened their show “No Placebos” last night at Red Flagg in New York. Plenty of fans were in attendance, despite the fact that it was a “surprise” show with it being announced only the day before the opening. The packed house was definitely a testament to the rapid ascendancy and popularity of their work.

The lovely Jasmin aka “Hera” and Falk aka “Akut” were on hand to chat with fans as well as sign copies of their recently released book, “The Perfect Merge.” The show featured paintings on canvas as well as works on cardboard cutouts that will be removed from the wall murals they inhabit once the show comes down.  Make sure you stop by before the end of the exhibition, July 3rd, and check out the work.
