Just as he did for his museum show at the BALTIC, LA show last year, and show in NY this year, Yoshitomo Nara teams up with YNG to present another stunning installation at this year’s Art Basel (Switzerland) in what appears to be joint venture between Blum & Poe, Marianne Boesky Gallery, and Tomio Koyama Gallery.  The distinctively Nara structure was seen at Art Unlimited, the exhibition for projects that transcend the classical art, including video projections, large-scale installations, massive sculptures and live performances.  More from Art Unlimited can be seen in the video below from Vernissage TV including glimpses of Nara’s installation.

The exhibition walkthrough video included looks at works by Elisabetta Benassi, Beat Zoderer, Sislej Xhafa, Ayse Erkmen, Pascale Marthine Tayou, Fabrice Gygi, Surdashan Shetty, Farhad Moshiri, Jesús Fafael Soto, Sterling Ruby, Laurence Weiner, Franz Erhard Walter, Steven Shearer, Nedko Solakov, :Mentalklinik, Natsuyuki Nakanishi, Stephan Balkenhol, Matthew Day Jackson and of course Yoshitomo Nara.
