On Thursday, AM attended the private screening of Banksy’s much anticipated documentary “Exit Through the Gift Shop in New York City. This early preview was hosted at the pimp Tribeca Grand and was made possible by renowned director Morgan Spurlock (Supersize Me & Where In The World Is Osama bin Laden?) who graciously hosted the screening. (See his collection here).

The packed afterparty was hosted by our friends at Wooster Collective (who had a cool part in the actual movie). The film was everything we expected and more. It’s hard to describe without giving too much away, but anyone with a sense of humor or appreciation for art should get a great kick out of the vintage Sir Banksy and Shepard Fairey dialogues. More after the jump.

We got an “Exit Through the Gift Shop” poster for one of our lucky readers. To win it, just leave a comment with your favorite Banksy image/artwork by 5pm (EST) Friday April 16th. (Congrats to Mac who is our winner)
