Over the weekend, New York was gifted two new sculptural installations from Yoshitomo Nara, placed in conjunction with his retrospective at the Asia Society, set to open on September 9th. The pair of 12-foot-high fiberglass dogs are on the Upper East Side (one across from the entrance to the Asia Society and the other just in front of the Park Avenue Armory) and will stand guard throughout the exhibition set to run until the beginning of next year.
