Robert Longo is currently showing at Galerie Thaddaeus Ropac in Paris, and we are completely in awe of his the size, detail, and complexity of these new drawings. The centerpiece of this exhibition, entitled God Machines, is the installation of three large pieces featuring some of holiest places for the world’s largest monotheistic religions – Mecca in Saudi Arabia, St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome and the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem. Also on display will be other studies and works of some of his favorite subjects from different phases of his career.
