Last week, the StolenSpace Gallery in London hosted a solo exhibition from the Belgium-based ROA at two different locations – their usual space in the Truman Brewery and at The Stone Masons, 17 Osborne Street London E1 6TD. We’ll first focus on the work from the main showspace which included his signature anatomical animal paintings on found objects, installations, and a mural. Coinciding with the art on display was the launch of ROA’s first artist book Roa: An Introduction To Animal Representation by Mammal Press.
