Rising jewel in the Asian art world, Hong Kong, has seen its fair share of interesting events recently including a group show at Above Second, James Jean’s mural at Lane Crawford, as well as Aya Takano’s showing at Galerie Perrotin (covered). Well, add another one opening Thursday night at the Gagosian branch featuring Flowers & Skulls, common motifs from Takashi Murakami which will be on display. He will no doubt be checking out fellow Kaikai Kiki-er Takano’s new work – you should stop by both exhibitions if you are lucky enough to be in the area like Pharrell, who stopped by for an advance look (seen above).
