The last time we saw a solo show from the Clayton Brothers in Los Angeles (covered), it was 2011. Showing through this weekend, the exhibition at the Mark Moore Gallery gives Angelino fans of the talented and respected artists another chance to check out the new body of work featuring mixed-media drawings, assemblage, photography, video, and installations. Open to the Public draws its inspiration and eclectic setup from the Sun Thrift Store in Sunland, a famous local “thrifting mecca” and includes not just the brothers’ paintings but also trinkets & discarded items retrieved from the business and photos of perusing customers.
