Tomorrow afternoon (January 19th) on the event deck at L.A. Live, the Affordable Art Fair will kick off their Los Angeles showing with a goal of presenting contemporary art priced from $100 – $10,000, hence their name. For the younger collectors out there in Los Angeles, there is good news as the Affordable Art Fair will be in town from January 18th – 22nd for their debut showing. Held on the event deck at L.A. Live, the goal is to present contemporary art priced from $100 – $10,000, with half of the work under $5,000. The Affordable Art Fair was in London at Battersea Park last week, with no piece on display exceeding the cap of £4,000. We like the fair’s aim of making contemporary art accessible to everyone. Many others clearly appreciate the concept as well, since the AAF is now in its thirteenth year.
