Streets: World Roundup (Nov. 28 – Dec. 4)

This week’s world roundup of street work is heavily tilted towards Art Basel Week Miami. With so many artists in town, there was bound to be some overlap on walls and in some cases – collaborations. Not sure if the Buff Monster & COPE2 piece above was planned as a tag team effort, but they seem to fit nicely together. Also included from Miami is more from COPE2, Aiko, ABOVE, JAZ, Anthony Lister x Eine, Pixel Pancho. Other walls from other parts of the world [...]

Stroke.03 Art Fair – Chor Boogie, Best Ever, Roa, and Alexandros Vasmoulakis

We’ve been receiving some pictures recently from artists who participated in this year’s Stroke Art Fair in Berlin or Stroke.03, so we thought we’d write something up. We won’t focus on the fair itself but just the associated murals. Perhaps the most famous one from this year was the piece seen above by Chor Boogie painted on a piece of the Berlin Wall that amazingly sold for €500,000 (read the whole story here). Other notable murals included pieces from Best Ever, Roa, and Alexandros Vasmoulakis [...]
