This weekend (October 3-4), the fifth and final edition of Beyond Eden will once again be hosted by the Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery at Barnsdall Park. As with previous years, the event will feature galleries from around California exhibiting work from artists in the New Contemporary Art movement including C.A.V.E. Openings: Beyond Eden 2013

Last weekend, the fourth Beyond Eden art fair opened its doors at the Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery at Barnsdall Park. Great crowds of art lovers showed up to support the various galleries (Thinkspace, C.A.V.E Gallery, Copro Gallery, and Spoke Art) and the artists represented. Some highlights were as special presentation recognizing Greg Escalante’s contributions to the LA art scene, the first showing of Chet Zar’s Ego Death project, as well as the Bird’s Eye View and Wild At Heart II group exhibitions. Previews: Beyond Eden 2013

This weekend (Saturday and Sunday), the fourth edition of the Beyond Eden art fair is opening at the Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery at Barnsdall Park. Like in previous years (covered), there are some great events planned and something for every art fan. Beyond Eden 2011 Overview

A couple weekends ago, along with PULSE and Art Platform, Los Angeles hosted another art fair, Beyond Eden, at the LA Municipal Art Gallery at Barnsdall Park. This third rendition of the annual event drew over 5000 visitors who witnessed a special special presentation honoring the art and accomplishments of Anthony Ausgang as well as took in the offerings of Thinkspace, La Luz De Jesus, Copro Gallery, T.A.G. Preview: Beyond Eden 2011

Among the plethora of art fairs opening this weekend is one held at the LA Municipal Art Gallery at Barnsdall Park – Beyond Eden. Beyond Eden ‘10: Shark Toof – Installation @ LeBasse Projects

Shark Toof debuted his first ever solo show with Culver City’s LeBasse Projects at Beyond Eden this past weekend. The prolific street artist mounted a visual assault utilizing his array of signature imagery, including sharks, cigarette boxes, comics and monsters. Using materials such as wood, spray cans, boxes, found materials and books, the artist filled nearly the entire space with art work. Beyond Eden ‘10: Bumblebee – “Bed Bugs” @ Carmichael Gallery

We at AM have been following Bumblebee’s work for a long time now and are now happy to provide coverage of his first ever solo exhibition. The buzzing and buzzed-about artist treated the Beyond Eden crowd to imagery of bees, children, environmental awareness and the joys of childhood, in an installation and collection of works that included sculpture and paintings.
